About JAMES

James Hrabe joined Vintage Investment Properties in 2012 as the primary transaction coordinator. He became licensed in 2015 and specializes in vacant land and country properties. Whether it is mapping property boundaries or determining where easements lie, James has a niche for all aspects surrounding land sales. Prior to jumping into sales, James worked for a local mortgage broker for nine years, giving him immense knowledge regarding the entire lending process as well.

Vintage Investment Properties would not be running without James. In addition to representing clients, he keeps our I.T. department functioning. Whenever a problem arises, James gets it diagnosed and fixed quickly. You’ll often find him taking apart someone’s computer or installing the latest gadget for a more efficient operation.

Hobbies

James also has an eye for photography. His natural talent combined with film photography courses at Cuesta College has turned out to be quite an asset for the company. He is our photographer for all of our listings and marketing materials.

In his spare time, you’ll find James surfing the Central Coast. He was introduced to the sport about 20 years ago with a single board and his collection has been growing ever since! He has made several trips to Hawaii and Thailand with his surfboard in tow. If he’s not packing it along, he will find something to get his adrenaline flowing, whether it’s finding cliffs to jump off, bungee jumping or skydiving.

When he isn’t riding waves, he will be found in the garden. He meticulously cultivates seedlings from a variety of trees, vegetables, and native shrubs. There are always dozens of trees awaiting their permanent home. Needless to say, the greenhouses are always full and the garden always planted with seasonal vegetables.

Between his artistic talent, mechanical skill set, and real estate knowledge, Vintage is extremely lucky to have him on the team!
